The Lion is considered the king of the jungle, and likewise, you Leos have an air of royalty about you. Some Leos even have hair resembling the thick mane of the Lion. But Lions are more than roar, for they are truly magnificent beasts. The Lioness proudly cares for her young, hunts, and takes care of survival with relentless intent and ferocity, when needed. And proud are you Lions! Perhaps that’s why you often choose work that puts you center stage or in the spotlight of appreciation.
Leos are warm of spirit, eager for action, and are driven by a desire to be loved for what you bring to others. You are a magnanimous leader and a faithful servant. Once scorned in love, however, you’ll withdraw your affections and the light, once brilliant, can go cold.
Your motto might be “What you see is what you get.” You tend to live your life straightforwardly and with a flair for drama. With a Lion by one’s side, it can almost feel like a romantic movie. That’s because Leo always wants to put on a show, and he or she likes to show love in the most dramatic ways possible. It certainly makes things exciting, but for someone more low-key and private, it can feel a little over the top at times.
With seemingly effortless charm, a Leo is caring, grandiose and ready to do what it takes to impress, even if it means putting themself on display for the entire world to see. They are typically attractive and look for passion, excitement, and physical attraction in return — and will work to bring anyone around them out of their shell, including love interests who may be of the shyer type. Leos can be dramatic — overdramatic, actually, which can be frustrating for their partner. Not everything has to be a show, so they need to be brought back to reality every now and then. Arrogant Lions can be tamed if they’re given a proper creative outlet … that way, the relationship will feel like a celebration of both people, together (and what a celebration it will be!).
