Now that New Year’s celebrations and holidays are over, let’s admit it; more or less, we all had a kind of a crazy night out -or two- or went a little bit wild, during this period of time. What? No? Ok, most of us then.

For this reason, in this week’s poll, Pillowfights asked its readers about our ‘crazy’ nights out and what is the best way to wind down after one. When would it be a better period of time in order to ask you something like this?

Our party animals are of course excluded as we know that you, my dears, don’t need a particular period of time for spending your ‘crazy’ nights out, even if winding down is also necessary for you as well, from time to time!

And, to be talking with numbers, what has really impressed me is that there aren’t actually any party animals in our voting crowd, as a unanimous 0% of you prefer another crazy night in order to wind down from one. Just between us, I was never able to explain how people could relax from a night out by having another one in repetition until the time I met some really party animals and I realized that either you have it in your veins or not; it doesn’t work with everybody and as we can see we are a kind of a more calm people here.

As regards the mere 6,7% of you my dear readers who have asked us to define “crazy night”, let me help you. Of course, it depends on each and every one of us as we know our limits better than anyone. What it may be considered crazy for me, it might be considered natural or too extreme for you. That’s why we cannot completely define your crazy night out but in order to help you, let me define mine.

Have you ever gone out, forgot that the night is coming to an end because you had a great time, the day had dawned and you finally decided to go back home? Or, have you ever been awaken up but you couldn’t remember how and when have you returned home, what day and time is it and how many drinks had you the night before? This is crazier than the previous one. Also have you ever gone out, danced until your knees couldn’t hold you, had the time of your life after a long period of time and returned happily ever after to your home? This could be far the best experience of a crazy night out. I hope I’ve satisfied you but, really people? Couldn’t you bring in mind what it is about?  As I well said above, it seems that some homebodies have been got together here.

A percentage 13,3% of you would like to wind down by having some quiet time with friends and family. Fair enough. Calmness, relaxation, being yourself and doing nothing or at least feeling free to do what you want at that moment is a really good choice, isn’t it? Good for you.

On the other hand, another 26,7% of you my dears have already found the meaning of this life. ‘Food and sex. Food and sex. And oh, yeah! Food and sex’ was another one option we gave you. I bet you are the ones who prefer the small pleasures in this life, right? Good job my dears. Let me admit for you that a really crazy night out also needs a really crazy night in, in order for it to be fully completed, right?

Finally, a fairly and vast 53,3% of you have agreed that sleep, sleep, sleep and then some more sleep is the best way of them all. What would it be better in cases like this one rather than sleep? It may be great to return back home after having a lot of fun and  being in a great mood but what the day after has to offer is usually pained feet, heads or stomachs and undoubtedly lack of sleep. Telling the truth, without these it seems that you didn’t have as much ‘crazy’ fun as you believed. So, let me agree and say that yes, sleep is one of the best ways to relax and come back to your previous physical – and sometimes mentally- state.

All in all, in one way or another we all need a little bit of relaxation after such a night and being honest, we all sometimes need a kind of a crazy night out, regardless how much homebody we are. And regarding the days before, it was a really good chance to remind ourselves how it is to go wild sometimes.

So, now that holidays are over and crazy nights are significantly decreased, I hope you’ve rested as much as you could and recharged your batteries to their fullest; in one way or another. Because, it’s back to reality now.
