What do age differences matter when it comes to love?

You see a couple walking down the street, holding hands. The most obvious thing about them is that they have quite a large age difference. Consider that the age difference is around the decade mark. What do you think? Is it possible to feel a little strange or even obnoxious? Although for some people this might cause a lot of chatting, there are so many things that matter -and things that don’t matter- when we are talking about love and how old two people are.

There are many people who prefer relationships with an age difference, as they think older means wiser. Well, that’s not always actually true but there is, however, some considerable perspective and confidence that comes with age. For instance, for men, the choice of being with an older lady is preferable, as it comes with a lot of benefits which younger women cannot afford.

Of course, you might consider that the main factor of choice is money. That’s not always true either, even though for some men it might be the key element. An older woman knows what she wants and what she doesn’t and she is not afraid to tell you. It’s nice to know where you stand all the time; in and out of the relationship. And do not forget the sex life. An older woman knows how to be sexier. Sexiness isn’t defined by the body alone. Sexiness comes with age. She is -typically- more experienced and she’s not intimidated or afraid of her own sexuality and desires.

On the other hand being with an older man offers a woman more security. He is more experienced in life. He is often financially independent, his confidence is higher and usually the communication and the understanding is better. You will remember this when you face difficulties, by the advices or the help he can give you. And as far as the sex is concerned, because he is more sexually experienced, he will be able to pleasure you in a way a younger man will never be able to, knowing how to make you orgasm in the best ways.

Dating a person with an age difference can be tricky as you may face a lot of challenges along the way. You may face the disapproval of society, your family and friends – as sometimes a relationship like that will not be handled well. And speaking of friends, many couples with a significant age difference have trouble finding common ground. Though a younger girlfriend or boyfriend could be equally mature, they might have friends not showing the same level of maturity.

But as in every relationship, the key to success is communication, love and mutual respect. And that rule applies here as well, since dating someone older can come with some foreseeable issues. It doesn’t matter if you are young or old. It doesn’t matter if you choose someone older or younger. The key element here is asking yourself what you want from someone, not what you want from their age.
