Each one of us is different. Completely different and yet we are all the same.

Remember that old lady who was sitting next to you on the bus this morning?
Or that girl with her headphones on, staring at her phone?
Or that man in his best outfit, while you were looking outside the window, rushing to go to work, to an interview, to his loved one…?

Everyone has a story; everyone has lost something, is afraid of something, and loves something. Each and every one of us, without exception.

In moments of doubt, confusion, sadness or disappointment, we should never forget who we are. We should never forget that we are not all the same and the way we think of is not the same as that of everyone else around us. The fear of the unknown has always been absorbed by the present moment or by the immediate future to dwell on the past, for everyone. They’re the safety nets our minds use.

The significance of human life is understood only in light of the truth, or the inevitable fact of loss and death; when we realize that we might lose something or someone, then we actually try to give it a value.

The possibility of loss does have an effect on one’s perception of life.

We are all passengers in this life; each one of us experiences life in various different ways. Perspective. It’s all about perspective, the way we see each other, the way we see life.

The beauty to be found in nature – the beaches, the crystal clear water, watching the passing of birds in the blue sky, rock music, making love to the person you adore …those are things someone might love.

When we become aware of the fact that differences and similarities between everyone are a given fact, we might be able to see life clearly and thus become both the passengers and the drivers of this life. The thought might sound absurd as a concept, it holds true; we might all be different, but we are all the same.

In our existence, in the abyss of our feelings concerning the past, the present, and the maddening uncertainty of the future, we have to accept the fact that we are all passengers in this life. Passengers, looking passively outside the windows as the world and life fly by.

We should embrace a positive optimism emphasizing on other people’s feelings, stories, and scars.

To some extent, we can control our lives, what we call ‘destiny’ as some things that happen to us and some people who come to our lives are pretty much beyond our control; they are lessons or blessings.

There will always be something we are afraid of, something we truly love, something we lost. And that’s the same concept for every soul out there.

We should all start feeling and living everything that happens to us very intensely in the present moment and let life lead you where you belong. We are all riders, passengers on this incredible, inexplicable journey.
